If I could give them a zero I would. I pre-ordered food to be delivered at noon. The app now says that they will deliver at 12:45. "Sorry we're running a little behind..." A little? Just the worst. Don't order unless you have two hours for lunch, or can eat whenever. If you have a schedule, AT ALL, you cannot count on this app. Their customer service can't tell you anything that isn't on the app, and won't help you when things aren't going well.
AWFUL EXPERIENCE. They are often late. This guy told me to cancel the order via text due to car got stuck in the snow. I understand but then does not send text updating me that he was able to get the order and to deliver it. Some I have dealt with are late upon arrival. They are the bottom of the barrel. I ordered from taco bell & I ordered 6 or 7 plain tacos because I dont eat lettuce. They get here & its wrong. None of them are plain & the ones that were supposed to be soft shell, were hard shell. I had to call our driver & at first it sounded like I would have to go take them back but then our driver offered to. He did & brought them back but it was still all hard shell tacos. I even texted him exactly what to get which included soft shells. He also called me & i told him soft shell. At least I got my plain tacos, but I wont be ordering from door dash again.
I drive for DoorDash and on several occasions I had to drive 15 minutes outside their starting areas to deliver food, which I had no problem with. Then when I wanted to give it a try, I could not get them to go a couple of minutes out. I had to rely on some other delivery service. I didn't have my car that day, so I was stuck. Sad part is, I actually like working for DoorDash and I hate to leave a negative review and that is why I will not name the other delivery (Food Dudes *cough* *cough*) service. I just wanted to experience the service from the customer's point of view. I was not asked to rate my driver, witch I actually liked. I will give this a try next week when I move into my new apartment.
Horrible business. I've delivered for them and have used their so called "referral program" with friends. They never pay out and use every shady business practice known to man to screw over people. The people running the office are apathetic and it's always someone new anytime I've gone in. The guy (some hipster techbro wearing a scarf) was literally yawning as I was asking questions. Like, dude, you sit in an office all day and your job is to answer questions and get people set up , at least try to do your job. This is somebody's livelihood your messing up. Ive been screamed out of restaurants picking up food for people because the restaurant never agreed to have delivery services pick anything up. I've had to wait hours for deliveries to pop up even though the area is hot with orders. Don't use this horrible service that doesn't care about anything but making money. There are others to pick from.
