A-1 assisted in my downtown company office move. They went above and beyond on effort and timing while their estimate on cost was spot on. We would use them again.
Very slow movers, not accurate on their estimates as well. Never would hire them again
We was extremely impressed with our movers. John and Andy were very professional. Some of our furniture is extremely large and we were told by two other moving companys that it was impossible to move. ( Funny since we moved our things in.) John and Andy had no problem. Thank you for making our move easy. We will recommend A1 to everyone.
I was a loyal customer to what was Sorenson's Apartment Movers in Hopkins. I don't know if this company merged with them, or what. But I hired them to move my mother yesterday, and had the worst experience in that it was much longer and more expensive than it needed to be. The truck broke down at the move location, and had to be towed 30 miles. They did not charge me for that time, but it still seems a bit surreal that a 2 man crew took 7 hours to load and unload a 1 BR apartment. I could have had 3 men, I suppose, but I still think the bill suffered because of the truck breaking down. I gave 5 stars because of my past with Sorenson's, but yesterday's experience will make me use another company next time. The crew was nice (Kody was highly personable), but my $903 bill wasn't worth it. I'm glad it's over, but so is my relationship with this company.
Used A-1 movers a few years ago. Never in my life have I experienced such rude, unprofessional service. The movers made remarks that my stuff was “junk,” made snide, sarcastic remarks, and treated me like I was trash. I mean, they’re working a dead end, manual labor job and they’re judging ME? Not to mention they took their sweet time getting the job done. Pay more for better service elsewhere!
